Los «check list» son buenos para orientar a las personas, pero NO lo dicen todo.
CIC no existe. Se llama IRCC. En la página de IRCC está indicado:
Any document that is not in English or French (unless otherwise stated on your document checklist), must be accompanied by:
-the English or French translation; and
-an affidavit from the person who completed the translation (see below for details); and
-a certified copy of the original document.
La página menciona un «certified translator», y éste no puede ser un familiar. En nuestros países de América Latina existen traductores certificados y registrados en los gobiernos. Solo ellos pueden trabducir documentos para IRCC (fuera de Canadá).
Si. Traducir y adjuntar tu documento de propiedad AYUDA grandemente a demostrar vínculos que tu país de origen.
