Eso es correcto. La fecha tope de primera entrada a Canadá la fijan los exámentes médicos.

Lo que le pasó a este amigo mío es que se tardó casi un año para que lo llamaran para estamparle la visa. Según he leído, así como le pasó a él le pasó a otros.

Espero que nuestros tiempos sí estén alrededor de las 4 semanas famosas.

Hace poco envié un correo a la universidad e McGill para tener de primera mano qué exigían ellos para cursar estudios allá en el caso de que el solicitante no hubiera hecho sus estudios en Québec.

If you have studied outside Canada, you are advised to request an evaluation of your degree called an "Évaluation comparative des études effectuées hors du Québec", from Quebec’s Ministère des Relations avec les citoyens et de l’immigration.

This equivalency evaluation will be required along with an official transcript when applying for admission to a graduate program. You will not be permitted to register if you fail to provide the documents listed above.

Please note the following requirements for english proficiency (you must demonstrate one of these):

* Their last five years of study (preceding application) have been at a learning institution where English is the main language of instruction (including applicants taught in English in Kenya, Liberia and Singapore); or

* Advanced level English: A-Level subject in English, (other than English as a Second Language) with a final grade of C or better.

* Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 233 (or a minimum score of 577 for the paper-based version of this test). A minimum overall or composite score of 90 in conjunction with a minimum individual component score (reading, writing, listening and speaking) of 21 is required for applicants who took the internet-based TOEFL (iBT).

* International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a band score of 6.5 or better.

* McGill CCE Test of English Language Proficiency (McGill CCE-TELP) with a Category A result.

Legal documents

There are a number of legal documents that affect your tuition and registration status that you must submit to the university. These include:

* Permanent Code

* Proof of Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant status

* Proof of Residency in Quebec
