I’m not trying to burst your bubble but that’s just reality….!!!!

The Job market in these countries is unable to absorb the huge amount of graduates, the word of mouth in the University of Utrecht (Netherlands) is to find jobs overseas, is taking at least 2-3 years for most graduates to find jobs so go figure.

    Hola Miguel !!!

One of the most alarming complaints I heard is that the job market is not keeping up with the amount of gradutes coming out of the Dutch Universitys, is getting very difficult to find jobs, actually most of them have found good offers in Germany but with the increasing number of outsourced jobs pretty soon that will be history as Germany is facing an alarming 10 to 12% unemployment rate and a incresing budget deficit (unhealthy for European standards)
I asked what was the real reason for the Ducth people to reject the European Constitution and the consensus was that the Netherlands is plagued with a lot of internal issues such as unemployment, housing, inmigration and health care so that was a loud statement to call for a prompt internal solution first and then finding solutions to finance the EU.(this is getting very costly)
Belgica esta en una situacion muy similar a la de Holanda con la unica diferencia de que Belgium’s economic expansion can only go so far since is a tiny ass country smaller than Holland with little economic diversity (Chocolate & Confectionary ind.) as one of the country’s major income and some Intl’ Institution headquaters with base in Brussels.

Nota: Una gran amiga mia graduada de la Univarsidad de Utrecht con residencia en Apeldoorn me conto que estuvo sin trabajo por 1 año, she was fined for not having health insurance since is Ilegal in Holland not to be covered. She had to find a job in a totally unrelated field actually just a regular job at a real estate company just to avoid the penalties.
BTW, Europe is very expensive not because of the currency convertion but because of the inflationary rate and it is not strange to see European products being sold in the U.S. at a much cheaper price……ironic right?
Trata de conseguir informacion about the UK and Ireland, they seem to be doing pretty well which is why they kept the British pound along the Euro in a just in case kind of policy.

I’ve been told that with a certificate, one’s got even more chances of being recognised as qualified for a certain job more than with a "Titulo o diploma" de una Uni d aki, no c q puedas decirme al respecto… Dado a esos comentarios y al hecho d q mientras mas c sepa mejor (más curriculum) pues voy a certificarme para tener mas oportunidad, si Dios kiere… en el posting anterior t di mi mail, si t parece mas comodo escribeme por alli, si non, c’est pas grave! Otra pregunta Yappi, es Suiza un pais Schengen? creo que si pero aclarame d todas formas en particular he leido q es un pais super organizado, poca criminalidad, calles limpias, all tidy and stuff.

Thanx very much indeed for everything ur sharing with me!!! I appreciate it, God bless ya!

Switzerland is not a Schengen country and is not part of the EU either, at times I thoguht that the sole purpose of this country to remain neutral if you will is because their economy, politics and social structure is so small that thay have no need to merge with bigger economies but then again this is just my opinion so for all we know I could be easily wrong. I have little info about Switzerland so you might as well try to talk to someone who has lived there or is currently living in that country, BTW I would try not to gather any info coming from nationals or natives since they don’t quite have a grip on certain issues like a inmigrant normally do, not that is bad it’s just common knowledge.
In my last visit to Brussels ( 3 weeks ago ) I noticed the city to be kinda of like run down, you know what I mean?, the country itself has an amazing cultural background and history but no much of an economic or professional setting that would allow you to consider it as a final destination, whereas Germany (Schengen and EU member) has the wow factor.
In a nutshell, it all depends in what you’re looking for, I strongly suggest you to search for a country that you feel related, interested or infatuated with besides of having the economic potential that will eventually secure your life. On the same token it will help you to ease the pain when you go through your downs and it will be much easier to overcome any second thoughts that you might have of your master plan.
Last but no least, I noticed that you really have moved forward in terms of your command of French, English and maybe other languages which is pretty awesome…keep doing that, it will help you a great deal.

P.D. I know mentioned it before but if you have the time look for more info about the UK or The Republic of Ireland these two could end up being great destinations without the many inmigration related issues like the Netherlands, Belgium or any other contry concerned with it’s size ( no pun intended).

    Rgds, Ed

Hola.
