A national industry leader in roof coatings manufacturing is looking for an experienced, hands-on Environmental Engineer to support its manufacturing plants across the country. The successful Engineer’s primary responsibilities will include the following:* Provide overall environmental engineering support to the
Company’s manufacturing plants
* Maintain compliance with federal and state environmental
regulations
* Track compliance and make recommendations for change as needed
* Provide training to plant level operations management to improve
understanding of environmental regulations
* Conduct compliance evaluations and assist in developing
corrective action plans
* Develop a system for standardizing environmental/safety
engineering practices across the organization with proper documentationQualified candidates should have a BS in Environmental Engineering or the like. Candidates should have 7+ years experience as an Environmental Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a multi-site organization. He/She should have strong experience with OSHA, ANSI, MSDS’s, and other safety-related regulatory issues pertaining to manufacturing, including waste management and safety training. All applicants should be self-starters and be willing to travel up to 40% of the time. Candidates should also have experience in developing company-wide environmental engineering programs focused on safety and compliance to minimize liability. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and all levels.

Si no tienes un advisor, simplemente la universidad te expedira una carta que dice que desafortunadamente no hay ningun investigador que se interese por ti.
Si logras conseguir algun advisor, tienes mas del 60% de posibilidades de ingreso a un plan de PhD.
